The cover stays on and protects your windshield from the elements. Keeps car even cooler than an inside windshield screen alone. Also protects windshield from other conditions - rainspots, hail, etc.
There is nothing like a wooden dowel sewn into the end that keeps the flap from being tugged through the window. It is easy to put on and to remove.
Cons
The material absorbs water. Not very sturdy. Doesn't work in all weather as advertised.
