This item is exactly what i needed. Converts hdmi to mini- display and it works perfectly!
This is exactly what i needed for splitting my laptop display on a second monitor. I think that's a win lol-it connects to my macbook pro just fine, which is awesome.
Cons
It only displays the desktop screen without the icons on the desktop. Hence never loading on my other screen. I had to do a power reset on it to get the monitor back to normal. If the wire moves at all, the picture cuts out and you hear aggressive sta... Read More
It seems like device is going to work and then get kicked out. Will be returning. If you want a wireless way of doing the same thing that will works:1. Maybe for 8$ that's ok.
