If you're decent at soldering you can add a small dab to the silver tip of the bulb to make it a slight bit taller. These bulbs look great in my light fixture. They fit perfectly in my refurbished lamp!
Light is warm and of lower temperature than the normal incandescent bulbs of same power. The light is very warm and soothing. W bulb is perfect as a nightlight in the wax melt lantern in my formal living room.
