Pros
It holds everything securely with no spills. We use yogurt and applesauce often so it's nice to have something that doesn't spill. As cautioned by other reviewers, we always hand wash so they don't warp.
The only downside is occasionally a clip is hard to secure. They work great for snacks on a long hike or at the zoo with the kiddos. They are easy to snap off and on which is super helpful since my daughter is only 5!
Mini bento boxes are perfect size for him and his lunchbox. Pinwheels, a cutie and a devil egg fit in it. The best part is i can for the rest of her lunch in her actual lunch box instead of everything hanging out in her backpack!
Even with a separate snack, a 1st grader would probably outgrow this. Small, snack size for my kiddos. Year old goes to daycare and i’m always in search for the best lunch box for her.

It doesnt leak ive put broth and chicken in there and it did not leak
They do not leak into one another and will not cross contaminate

The mini bento boxes are perfect for the critters pottery barn lunch bag
I bought this to pack snacks and small portion sides in my kindergartners lunch for when i give her a hot lunch in a thermos
I’ve also packed mini sandwiches in the long one grape tomatoes in one and cucumbers in other small compartment

No chance a toddler could open the latches by themselves just need to make sure an adult it around to help

She’s a bit of a picky eater so the bento boxes with many compartments was a bit of a stretch

The 3 sections allow for a good variety will not being an overwhelming selection

The seal on the outside is tight and does not leak but more importantly the seals between the sections is strong as well
