Pros

It's a soft, light, with a calming brightness, like you might expect at a display case in a fish showcase.

Illuminating one side of the 10 gallons makes a cool looking shading. Good for a dim small tank like neon tetra or tetra breeding. Great for 20/40 gallon tanks, but it is perfect for the 10 gallon! Purchased this for the basin of a small fountain.

Only complaint is the suction. It suctions to the lid well, and it's nice that you can turn it to direct the light. The light has a low fever (generates minimal heat), has powerful * disk (suction cups allow you to mount it on the glass).

It works great like this, for me. Highly recommend. Hope it lasts.

Cons

Customer service is mediocre, at best. Too busy working to fool with returning. after second year, same thing.

Wires inside the sealed tube clearly broken off. There were a bunch of small black particles in the tank substrate. Poorly packaged and shipping.

Would be better off just shipping the box theyre packed in instead of the way in my picture

I just got my light today was shipped very quick but 3 of the bulbs dont work right out of the box

I ordered this and suctioned it the the cover

They keep popping sliding off of the glass
