You need more parts than necessary and the official vid for the excal specifically says dont lose the adapter cuz it is expensive to replace

There is no way to know how full the battery is when charging the manual simply says charge for 17 hours to make sure it is full

While i realize this does not address how well the excal works it should be noted that it will not work at all without a battery and using an outdated error prone method to charge a battery is not what i expected from an expensive toy like this
