If you do not have a tight neck under your chin then the top of the collar is easily noticed but for me that is okay

They do have a slight bounce to them however if hit they do have a hollow ish sound to them so beware of that if it is applicable

After some heavy usage over a few months i had a problem with the side under arm splitting which i believe was my own fault and not a defect but after talking to minaky again they have offered to fix it if i send it to them
