This is a big vacuum that is quite heavy even with the rolling base removed.
It is way too awkward to use to vacuum the car and to big to move around the house easily.

It has good suction better than a small shop vac but not near the suction of my 30 year old 16 gallon 6 hp shop vac

As a woodworked i wouldnt dream of trying to use this in the shop an ac powered vac does shop duty much better

I dont use any shop vac without a bag because the filters clog too quick with fine dust
