Pros

This lock is simply for the convenience of not having to carry one key for the only door of 4 not integrated into the home security system. The battery is normal while another top ranking locks battery is super hot. My mother of 66 years of age with a... Read More

It works perfectly. Will be buying again for some other doors in the house.

Bought 2 of these for a maid closet. Saw stuff like this at home depot for 3-4x the price here.

Cons

This is a huge fire risk because it can prevent escaping from a burning room. Throwing it to the garbage now.

The product was shipped with a large red print do not return. That's deceptive and ineffective when you are on a job site. This is not reliable, it works most of the time but 3-4 times a month, it won't.

The locking mechanism gets stuck. Tried changing batteries, resetting code, will not work again. It turns out that the lock is sticky too.

Once installed though it does work very well and the codes are easy to setup

I’ve had this lock for about a year and it has worked great on my bedroom door but it is now malfunctioning

My door doesn’t fit this lock and like to exchange but no one responds properly and timeframe is over and my money wiped

Price

Got it as a cheaper option for a closet we didn’t want the kids getting into

But if you prefer not having to change it often i would spend a few extra dollars on good batteries

Note i called the 1800 number emailed the company and sent a message through amazon never got a response

Competitiveness

This model looks better and feels like better quality than the honeywell model

I purchased this model and a more expensive honeywell model

I tried the cheaper route of dollar tree batteries but i was changing them more frequently
