Although the connection to a phone is based on a plastic spring contraption that can be difficult to work for bigger phones and didnt give me a lot of confidence in its holding power

The pole is strong enough to hold point and shoot cameras when you screw them in similar to a tripod but because the pole uses bluetooth you cannot take the picture unless your camera has bluetooth or you can use the 10 second timer
