Pros
We have a 75lb male aussie pyr with incredible agility that likes to hop fences. Bought this to keep the dog out of my daughters playroom. This is the best gate we have purchased as we have a * and this is perfect.
Despite these flaws, the gate is still functional so we opted to keep it. The gate is very sturdy and though hard for kids to open, it's easy for adults and swings shut nicely. Very sturdy without damaging the wall.
Once in place it worked flawlessly. The only thing that's a gimmick are the so called illuminating tabs, they don't work.
The latch is also not too difficult to open for my 5 year old. I find, that the gate is quite secure.
Cons
Now the gate is worthless. Over a year later that other gate, made by summer, though not as easy to operate is still sturdy.

It did but only after having to reach out to midwest for the missing items that were needed to make the gate function as the 4 pressure mounting screws were missing from the box

Since we bought a like new all pieces should have been in the box to make it work

After a couple emails they were very kind to mail us the missing pieces rather than us returning the gate to have to buy another

We got the 39 tall so he wouldnt be able to jump it

It is a little difficult to open with one hand since you have to pull up on the gate to unlock it
