I usually never write reviews but this deserved one. This is worth every penny and more. No complaint at all.
The only thing i didn't love about this dog house is the lack of insulation material. It gives us easy access to adjust the insulation, bedding and whatever we will need to put in there for the winter months. Especially with the heat pad.
The unit is attractive and has a pleasant cedar fragrance. The materials are good quality and very tastefully constructed.
Cons
There is no way it should have fallen apart like this. The floor continuously drops and the quality of the wood is cheap. They seem to have used the thinnest, weakest paint possible.
Couldn't return it bc of the hassle of getting new box. Very disappointing for $200. Amazon wants me to send it back and of course box it and pay for the shipping which is absolutely ridiculous.

Started with a strong smell that kept my dog away but after it went away i was able to get my dog in with the help of a treat
Shipping
As you can see from the photos the shipping damage was significant but the product is still usable and not worth the trouble of returning
Packaging/appearance
I just lift the lid every morning and pour a jug of cat food in the the bowl
After that it wont lay back down on the small slat it just falls through
The hardest part was taking it out of the box

I decided to put in a adhesive floor tilepeel and stick tile on the bottom so the litter would not fall through the little slots of wood on the wood floor
