Its difficult to get the lids on the first time

The bottles are shipped without the flip tops installed but its not too difficult to install them once you figure out the correct orientation of the wire fingers into the pockets on the bottle neck

Hint look closely at the picture of the lid installed on the bottle and notice the fingers of the lower c shaped wire that wraps around the bottle neck not the upper wire part that goes through the cap
