Pros

Leather is softer, it's less bulky, and i love the paper in the little notebooks. The leather is supple, but strong. The craftsmanship is phenomenal.

The camel color is absolutely stunning-- it is perfect, and so very soft. One thing that's a bit different about the black is that it doesn't show wear and aging as much as the browns do. Not too dark in color.

Cons

The finish is a nubuck, and not the natural grain of the leather. Is this correct for what they're churning out now, or should i inquire about getting one that's full grain?

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was very nice and i am so happy with my purchase

This is nicely packaged for gifting in a cloth bag and cardboard folder

I think the product itself is nice but the packaging it was sent in wasnt protective enough

This comes with 1 blank insert and i took the bands from the packaging to use to attach the other inserts i got

Competitiveness

The travelers journal is more expensive than many other journal options but its completely worth the money

This is a newer 34travelers notebook34 brand not 34midori34 brand

Both brands take the same size inserts

I puchased another brand of passport notebook but felt the leather was too bulky and didnt care for the paper in the notebooks
