Using it as a pillow. He’s on a pill that seems to fight against his natural immune system, which helps with his crazy allergies but is prolonging the healing of his wound.
Cons
The donut is a weird shape when inflated like it’s too round. Material is still too stretchy in either size. The velcro strap closure is too long so doesnt stick properly.

He had a hot spot on his hind leg that we couldn’t get him to stop licking so we put our backup cone of shame on him

We discovered this week that he is ridiculously scared of the cone… we had his neuter surgery and they removed a growth on his leg at the same time

The cone freaked him out and he started jumping and spinning and was just inconsolable any time the cone bumped anything

And with an xxl cone the diameter is like 40 inches so it bumps everything
