Pros & Cons
Pros
I have a midea dehumidifier in the basement and it condenses an amazing amount of water. Only complaint is how often it has to be drained. I have an old gallon milk jug behind the unit for it to drain to.
It's quiet and cools down more than just the room where it's installed. It is also much quieter than any other brand i have tried.
The unit has memory, so it will remember the exact settings it was on not only when it is shut off, but also if it is unplugged while running. Sometimes a bit finicky remote but works well. The app is a nice feature, and i love the functionality of th... Read More
Single exhaust unit comes with an extra adapter meant for use with sliding windows. The hose is oval-shaped and large already to accommodate both intake and exhaust air streams. This hose adapter, which is even larger, changes the hose's horizontal ov... Read More
Cons
Window vent kit is garbage. Air duct is way too short. Tube that connects to the panel that goes in the window is a horrible and cheap design.
I am disappointed with midea's lack of support for its products. They seem to have some semblance of support at the very least. Modes support is pretty trash, so you just better hope your unit is 100% perfect.
