Pros

For us, the trade-off of background noise for a dry house is a no brainer. Basement is now at least 25% less spooky and 50% less smelly.

This dehumidifier removes up to 70 pints of moisture per day. It has a built-in humidistat that allows you to set your desired humidity level. It also gives you a preset percentage of humidity at 90 degrees fahrenheit.

There are two hoses, and i am not talking about a water hose but rather a smaller tubing that can connect to the back. It works and has a pump to dump water into a slop sink or floor drain.

Cons

Dehumidifier leaves puddles of water on the floor. Built in pump does not work. Finished room would not be forgiving if this unit overflows.

Coincidentally, the warranty is for 1 year. It is no longer under warranty. For a unit it's just a couple years old i'm fairly disappointing.

This is not acceptable. All i have left is to leave this warning for other prospective customers- do not buy this product.

This machine works great and has pulled so much water out of the air i have to dump the entire basin every 20ish hours

Extremely misleading by the description saying its no louder than a fridge

Fortually for me i got a good deal on a scratch and dent from amazon so i got what i paid for

This could be off setting the cost to run the dehumidifier
