It requires a little bit more attention in this regard because the sound is kind of muffled by the thickness of the silicone so you just really have to pay attention

Unfortunately when it comes out of the microwave the entire thing is very hot

It is very similar in this regard to a hot microwave popcorn bag when its just pulled out of the microwave
