The existing refrigeration system works on both ac and dc via an ac inverter internal to the refrigerator

While this inverter works for the purpose described above i discovered it draws one full amp just sitting idle with the refrigerator switched off

If your needs involve managing the inverter as in turning it on only when needed it is not so bad

I will say i was running the other inverter off my car and not stationary batteries so maybe having the extra volt helped it but honestly im not sure
