Pros & Cons

Pros

Both items only require one receiver, so that's a benefit not having to take up two usb ports. The mouse also fits perfectly in the hand. I just wish it had a second side button, and a click option fo the scroll wheel.

The ergonomic layout is super comfortable. They're each super sturdy. Battery life is good too. Seems like a year at least between battery replacements. This gets my highest recommendation.

The 5050 keyboard has a wrist rest that is curved downward toward you. The curve allows you to hold your wrists naturally, which is important when you're trying to prevent carpal tunnel issues. The numbers keypad is essential.

Cons

The wheel movement stops the mouse click from registering as it is constantly moving up & down. This one seems to suffer from intermittent interference where the mouse will be so jerky and unresponsive as to be unusable. The wrist pad is hard.

Quality

Sturdy good fit for hands feells good typing very good product

The quality of the keyboard and mouse are amazing

Put clear fingernail polish over the keys before they rubbed completely off

Lots of shortcut keys and smoothkeystrokes without being clicky loud like a lot of mechanical keyboards

Price

Ebay sellers sell them for close to 100

Easier to buy this set and cheaper than it was to buy the moise alone so the keyboard actually sits in a box

In the long term i guess the 30 price difference isnt so bad but if it was just for travel use i wouldnt pay the extra

I am into saving money but i also like how this mouse fits my hand and the keyboard was a plus

Packaging/appearance

It came without a box but packaged well for the trip with ace ventura

Competitiveness

Tried another modelbrand that was available at the store hated it and replaced it with what i knew fit my hand placement perfectly

I’ve been using the 5050 for about 2 months now and find it comfortable and easy to use very similar to the 4000…for the most part

Both units different brands stop being able to pause and skip to next track while using them

I prefer microsoft products over the other big name
