The eraser function of the ciscle pen is a little more trippy its located as a button on the side of the pen that also serves a second function as a rightclick button

So it is possible that you could accidentally erase some of your work when your intention might be to just right click and select some text

You can tell if it is awake because it has a little green light which dims after first turning it on
