The keyboard is wireless via a provided dongle that resides in the pc for entering bios or entering commands during startup you will have to use a wired keyboard this is an issue with all wireless keyboards

Please note that the keyboard is not bluetooth compatible and comes with a usb dongle receiver that plugs into your machine

Loose or damage your dongle and the keyboard and mouse become paperweights
