Pros

It's super expensive now because microsoft doesn't make it anymore so this type of mouse is super rare.

The slope of the ms mouse is gentle so your hand sits on top of it without any effort. I love trackball mice because i am disabled and the other meeces make you have to flail your arm/wrist about to achieve your goals.

The only problem now is that the solder traces inside are separating from the circuit board. Overall, this is the best mouse i've ever owned, and i hope microsoft brings back this mouse and start selling an updated version of it. There is some mainten... Read More

Cons

Movement of the cursor is imprecise and jerky. Ball sticks to the socket, making it difficult to control the cursor. Ball falls out easily.

This mouse fails miserably in the most important area - the trackball itself. It does not have a retaining ring like the logitech. When it gets too much lint in front of the optical receiver inside there (the eye), it stops working.

The two outside buttons are fantastic that you get at by sliding your outstretched fingers over the zone works very very well

Its comfortable able to be cleaned sturdy and has the best long term value

Bought a new one and it lasted one month and the optics on it died

Have used a number of other trackballs at work they are not comfortable and break only after a few months of use

Price

Worth every penny of the outrageous prices it goes for used

Opted this time for a wireless logitech which works just fine and was about 30

Purched 2 from another sight for half the cost here

If the thing is selling for 250 which is down from 450 two months ago that means the market wants more

Shipping

Now the problem is the like new unit which i ordered was never delivered i still dont know why but it was cancelled prior to delivery

Shipping time was fast especially considering that i am in an apo location so mail can take forever

Packaging/appearance

This was labeled as used but looks brand new the seal was broken on the box and that was it

I did notice a picture of you sellers with the caption under it with the words flimflam bunco shady extortion and crook

Competitiveness

I use the forward and backward keys a lot even on nested microsoft explorer disk drive access locations

I would love to curse the idiot at microsoft who discontinued them a thousand times over

I believe this product has been discontinued by microsoft or at least they are making fewer of them

I also bought a logitech knockoff some time later to use on another pc but it just wasnt the same
