Overall, it works. It is compatible with the elgato wave 3. I use the boom arm with my blue yeti pro microphone while i stream on twitch. This mic is very versatile.

The boom arm holds a rode nt1a microphone with a shock mount and pop filter. It holds them sturdily. Comes with little straps to tie wires around the arm if needed. It seems to be fully metal except for the mic holder.

Cons

Only usable if able to mount to sides of desk. I can only mount it about a foot to the left of my keyboard. This means i can't mount this on the back edge of my desk and have it come under my ultrawide monitor.

It also shakes a lot from any little movement. Starting to squeak as well. The knobs to tighten the arm in place aren't really functional. The plastic knobs feel like they're about to break or the threads will strip.

The threaded adapter included with the boom arm is 1/8-14” too narrow in diameter to connect to the blue yeti mic. The supplied metal adapter is too small, slipping right into the mounting base of my mic without making a connection to the screw thread... Read More
