Quality

I know speaker quality is paramount to audio sound thats why i went with these yamaha speakers

The sound quality is just as good as my more expensive marantz amplifier that im using for some other speakers

The price is a little high the thing blasts out sound

No complaints though i recommend to follow the instructions when plugging in the wallwart

I recommend to plug in power before plugging in the wallwart

Fortunately i stumbled across the amphony amplifier

Competitiveness

It is feeding a fairly highend nautilus speaker

The amphony amplifier on the other hand performs quite well

As others have noted it does get hot after a while but its a small price to pay for a fanless design

Therefore i returned that and instead purchase an amphony amplifier
