Pros

It's well made, doesn't get tangled up in my key chain, and is so convenient and unobtrusive. For their size these are seriously powerful. Switch is very handy. Have changed the batteries a few times.

Photon ii is much brighter than the one it replaced. It's not a flashlight, but in a jam it works just fine. It has as much light as a full size flashlight.

Cons

No photon on micro-light, no ridges on microlight as pictured in advertisement. The lights work, but they're not true photon brands. The lri fmw photon freedom model works better for me.

I would skip this light and go with streamlights nano instead. It is brighter, just as small, and the battery change is fairly straight-forward. They sell another version of their microlight that is 100% better and more durable. They are much brighter... Read More

The battery on the first one lasted two years and it was amazingly bright for such a tiny light

The fact that its so small and fits on my keychain with no real bulk added makes it great

After 25 years of using the original version the spring just didnt realign after replacing the battery

I just bought some cr2032 batteries to see if it can make it brighter since this is a 6 year battery but its really not needed

This is inside my hunting backpack and is very handy to find things inside of the pack in the dark
