Pros

These speakers sound great and exhibit plenty of gain (powered by a smsl sa50 amp with google chromecast audio) mainly being used for all channel stereo, or dolby atmos. The sound matches my klipsch setup.

The imaging on these is amazing! These are heavy duty and handle a lot power. These speakers are beautifully made and are solid and heavy. Two different styles by bogen but with ale model number.

The r-8c is a great speaker, they certainly rival much more expensive speakers. These speakers are great in both scenarios. Great sounding speaker. Would definitely use again. The sound is incredible.

Cons

Little to no bass and kinda of flat sounding. Midrange is terrible. Didn't test others. I'm not sure what previous reviewers are talking about.

These speakers are beautifully made and are solid and heavy

If you notice the plastic on the clamps is not pre threaded i tried to do the first one and it was a pain

During construction i ran 4 pairs of speaker wire into the ceiling and down the wall where i would eventually put my receiver

My ears are very pleased i bought the 834 instead of 634 for under 300

In overall this speaker for its price is awesome

I auditioned these speakers against highly regarded 100 speakers and these came out bounds ahead

I knew what i didnt want high cost coaxial speakers bulky looking grills excessive power consumption ect

They do ship with a small 34key34 to ease the covers off however

Packaging/appearance

Surprisingly the box didnt make as large of an impact as i had expected

One came damaged and with a bad crossover

Competitiveness

The r8c is a great speaker they certainly rival much more expensive speakers

By comparison the micca r8c has a much more neutral sound it is better off center and excellent bass

I have had boston acoustics and polks which cost a lot more than these and i dont believe sound any better

I also did a side by side comparison between these and the polk mc80s
