Pros & Cons
Pros
Overall, very enjoyable. I am hooked. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series, miami burn.
As a fan of *, titus is a great readalong character. Love the characters - their flaws and their redeeming qualities. Characters are full of depth.
Patten is very talented, and has an engaging writing style and a honed ability to keep you relaxed. Titus is overdone, but that is what many of us like out here in readerville. Can't wait for mr patten's third.
His personality, actions, and thoughts remind me of the great travis mcgee. Love titus’s interaction with his streetwise reverend friend.
Miami chill is a well plotted and expertly written who done what and who did it novel. Miami chill puts you right on the mean streets, with all the glitz and seams. Three seductive sirens are all vying for titus’ help.
Cons
Book two is so far fetched that i had to force myself to finish. The plot is semi plausible, but the author gets way too cute in not identifying one of the key characters.
