Pros

It makes soldering so much easier. Helps with drag soldering. Works great for through-hole components, promoting good solder flow and * into the joint.

The flux performs well, and i have not had any botches yet. Used this flux on a copper heat spreader to reflow coins about the size of a half dollar. Very good deal for liquid, rosen flux.

Cons

Good job mg on the chemical, horrible job on the packaging. The cap is a safety pill bottle cap and does not seal. If the bottle is ever on its side prepare for an extremely sticky mess.

It works fine but i wish it had an eyedropper or similar in the bottle

It smelled the same as the rosin flux from the bottle

As it comes out of the bottle its pretty sticky due to the large rosin content

Also greatly increases absorption of solder wick during desoldering applications

I do pour the flux into a small 15ml plastic bottle with a needle tip to make it easy to apply
