Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought this to cut down on rf. Made my 40 and 20 meter much quieter. Also, my receiver noise is radically reduced.
Pl259 is an isolation choke for the ocfd tuner. It works great and has stopped rf that was getting into my ham shack on the coax shielding. The choke is designed to isolate a run of coaxial cable so that it works as a counter poise.
Haven't been bitten yet. It was shipped in a timely manner and well protected. No complaints whatsoever.
Easy to install and stop rf feed back to the shack. Made of pvc, and easy to install.
Cons
Cheap pvc with sub standard connectors. Failed to eliminate rf feed back wether placed at the antenna or in the shack. All previous mfj products function flawlessly up until this.

There is no sealing at the connectors and there is a small hole in each end so dont even think of using it at the feedpoint in any but 24 hour warm dry weather
