Pros & Cons
Pros
Pricey yes but well worth it. Nice “everyday” size/quality/thickness, manageable cutting board. Construction looks solid, it cleans up easily, and is easy to maintain that attractive finish.
Doesn't splinter or crack easily. My other board is a hefty/thick butcher block, which is often a bit much.
Cons
The cutting board also no longer sits flat on my counter as it is warped.
Highlights
Quality
The quality is awesome and it looks fantastic
It was great to be able to buy a canadian product
I suggest you also get some good quality food grade cutting board oil or beeswax product and use it regularly

If after extensive use you begin to see cut marks in the board get some sandpaper 80100 grit and a sanding block sand the surface until the marks disappear and apply oil and beeswax generously

If you dont like the fact that a wood cutting board gets marked up a bit after use thwn maybe you should buy a synthetic plastic or other material board and just replace your expemsive knoves more often instead
