Many vintages ago the wine cognoscenti realized that the sediment or crust that developed in some wines the longer they were laid down had a decidedly deleterious effect on said wine making it in some cases undrinkable

I can pretty much guarantee that 1 youll be amazed at the sediment in the cheesecloth 2 the wine will taste that much better

Be that as it may if you do nothing else get this funnel if you want to start tasting what aged wine is supposed to taste like or you want younger wine aerated properly
