Pros
It accommodates larger touchscreens and additional features flawlessly. Seems to be pretty sturdy to. Works better than the previous kit.
The metra 95-5026 double din installation kit is a game-changer. The build quality is top-notch, fitting perfectly into my dashboard.
Cons
Shave, cut, or grind part until it fits. Doesn't fit a 07 mustang. Probably fits my explorer well but not the aftermarket stereo.

That said i knew when i bought my ebay china special that it might become a headache to install

The dimensions are slightly larger than standard double din and the volume button knob was hitting the dash kit and would have requires me cutting a notch in it
