The brackets are plastic and designed to universally fit numerous radio housing screw patterns so some of the holes in the brackets are too close to the next hole and need a larger screw head or a washer to span a larger area on the bracket

Standard head unit would have been fine too

My only critique is it doesn’t allow the head unit screen to be flush with the trim of the kit so the screen is inset a little

The problem was that the stereo unit is about 18 inch too large to fit into the frame of the install kit
