Pros
Easy to connect boss audio bvcp9685a. Installed a pioneer avh-1550nex stereo with a back-up camera. It all works perfectly including the subwoofer. My dimmer, etc work on the radio when my head lights are auto or manually activated.
Cons
It's noisy, crackles and rattles in your pocket. Return harness and redo all this. Didn't bother with returning it.

The main harness is off by a few pins that don’t match up with the other factory harness. For example, my truck uses pin #3 for illumination (so the stereo dims at night), but this harness doesn't have a wire in that pin. The best bet is to straight w... Read More

It does appear that sometime between the 2002 and 2006 the connection did change
