Pros
Worked like a charm. I am very pleased with the product received, but will no longer be making any purchases through amazon.
The illumination wire. Fits plugs. It comes with a wiring diagram so there is no guessing and the conductors are already cut back for you.
Cons
This product does not fit my 1999 mercury cougar. My truck still has it's iriginal radio and cables, and this is nothing like it's connector. One of two works, but not the speaker supply harness.

I had to move pins to fit my 98 ford f150 pins for power and speakers

I soldered the wires to the new stereo wires and used heat shrink tape
