Used a stud finder to mark the studs. Then just screw this training board into the plywood using the included screws. Mounted on a structural beam.
It holds all 180 pounds of me without budging. I wish i made the backing board a little bit taller than 9” (just for the esthetic) lots of holds, various depths and widths, from one to four fingers.

The metolius simulator 3d is a durable and well-built tool that is great for increasing your strength and grip. Using to build up hands and forearms after surgery. Defintely helps with finger strength.
This is a very complete workout addition for climbing. It even has big * on the top to help train yourself for *. Highly recommend it to anyone who is into climbing.

Upon instillation, using the instructions to the exact specifications, a piece of a corner of the board chipped off. Very unhappy with the quality of this product.

The grips are rough textured so if you dont already have calluses built up it might be a bit rough starting off

I tried screwing it to my wall to try it out and it works because it has a lot of screw holes but i dare not hold the middle until this thing is replaced because there are chips missing that will cut me
