Two great friends of mine gave me this messermeister knifeactually the meridien elite version which simply has a different handle design

But it also remains my favorite knife for routine tasks like cutting onions and garlic and even for some fine work the tip alone can be used on tiny tasks like scooping out a bruised bit on a peeled apple

The only issue is that it arrived with the plastic wrapper partially opened on the top of the box and the knife’s laser branding had some corrosion on it which i have yet to clean off see photo

That was before the elite handpolished edge came out but you can see in the picture that they are the same product including the x50 crmo steel
