Top of the line knifes in german and japanese style. Wusthof trident or henckels make the finest german knives. The partial bolster is great for a pinch grip.

This knife won't even slice a tomato. The only thing it does well is whack off the ends of corn cobs so we can microwave them in their husk.

Its as if when they stamp the writing on the side the ink doesnt seem evenly spread so the writing looks splotchy

About the size ill just say that a large knife like this is not necessarily cumbersome and in fact some rather petite persons like sara moulton on tv can favor quite large knives

Comes with a plastic cover for the blade but a thicker one is needed to ensure it doesnt cut through
