We are crate training our new lab puppy and wanted a crate that looked nicer than our big plastic one. My wife loves that it fits in so nicely and the puppy is happy with it.

Compared to a similar, smaller, more expensive crate i bought last year - this one far surpasses it in quality. It blends easily with the rest of our decor and is hardly noticeable.

Great, great idea. Its practical and space saving. Easy to lock and unlock. What makes me thankful is that i could open into the gate.

Cons

Month-old irish doodle mimi chewed the kennel. The front frame under the door was poorly constructed and has cracked leading to another point of escape for our pup. The inside is not a standard size of the way pet beds run.

The material is a cheaply put together wood look a like and can crumble by just scooting it half an inch. Every piece is horribly dusty. The latch is scratched pretty badly.

Any one that would expect a solid hardwood frame and top for this price is not living in the real world

We have had it for about 3 months as are very happy with it to contain a pomsky and a couple of yorkies

Probably not suitable for more than 40 pounds on top of the table
