There were a few bugs in the android app but the mfr fixed them

This product uses its own app for setup but then can be controlled through alexa which is allows all plugins to be controlled by voice

It works as intended ios app is intuitive to setup and use

However the wifi receiver is a bit weak at outside eave location where i use these smart outlet to control the christmas lights it frequently gets disconnected to the wifi signal

In comparison other wifi devices at the same location will get a very decent wifi signal
