Pros
The proglide stays sharp for a long time because its not hacking through the whiskers. One blade seems to shave closer and better than those expensive multi-blade cartridges.
I don't know much about other razors, this one is definitly a good one. The razor itself has a good heft, feels premium in the hand. This razor is easy to handle and even easier to clean!
This shaver is awesome. It offers a comfortable shave every single time. After shave balm is also very good an important.
Cons
The middle post comes out and it isn’t really fixable. Burrs in the material are unacceptable for what should be a simple fabrication. This is by far the worst razor i've purchased.

All in all happy with the product
Brilliantly machined and has just the right heft to it to feel the quality
I started with safety razors with the wilkinson sword safety razor and it was pretty good until i tried shaving against the grain
I don’t use after shave just a badger hair brush and a high quality soap paired with the merkur
Price
Not sure what would make this product 5 stars but the price seems a little steep for that 5th star but it seems a good build
