The merkur futur is simply a most suitable and loveable razor. High quality, sleek design, adjustable and easy to clean. A genuinely fantastic razor.

I have shaved with de safety razors for 10 years and always used merkur and dovo products
Id been using a shavette for the last couple of years in an effort to reduce the irritation and bumps experienced by multiblade razors
The product is great and almost like shaving with an open blade but without the risk i have a shavette but it is now for display only

As much as i wanted it to work for me i found it harsh on my skin and too bulky to effectively shave around intricate areas

Having persevered with it for over a year and trying all the various different blades creams and soaps i could lay my hands on i finally had to admit defeat

Make sure you buy quality blades i got astra and be careful how you insert them

Also remember that the razor is only part of the story and you need a good quality shaving cream foam to get the best shave
