The knife holder takes up much less room than a traditional knife block and looks very stylish. The slim profile also frees up some workspace. The silver and glass holder looks stylish but also very space efficient.

While not the cheapest knife set available the mercer genesis is undoubtedly very high quality. Top notch. Expensive, but worth the price. As ever superb service from amazon.

Mrecer is an american company and as far as i can determine these are made with german steel in the far east if the various blogs are to be believed. And unequivocally they are. These knives are astonishingly good.
