The decanter allows you to decant the wine and then put it back in the bottle for presentation. No more playing around with funnels trying to get the wine back into the bottle to take to dinner.

Cons

The glass shatters easily. It leaks no matter how carefully the black ring is postioned. If you're not holding it correctly, it blows up.

The problem i have had was during shipping it got lost both for mine and for the product shipped as a gift

The decanter also comes with a lid so i can store wine in it or its easy to pour the aerated wine back in the bottle

The wine we were drinking required doubledecanting and this is what they used to put the wine back in the bottle

So i’ve either been leaving in the bottle or pouring into another decanter
