In order for it to go through the belt loops you have to take the end off thread it and then fit it to size for whatever pants your wearing

If you want to use it as a belt buy the narrow version or it wont fit through the loops

You have to unthread belt through the male side of the latch every time because the latch wont fit through belt loops
