Pros

This flute is great for beginners. It serves me very well, giving me daily joy, and i played it by rotation with my yamaha and germenhardt student flutes. Medini fits the qualifications.

Cons

Ask your director about good brands and surf ebay.

Very pretty instrument--very broken instrument after just 3 weeks of playing. Playing notes in any octave that require the right hand keys closed is difficult. It's not a serious musical instrument, it's a toy.

As another reviewer stated, the quality is not that great. They are horribly designed, damaged easily and very difficult to have repaired.
