Pros

The 92d tuner is accurate and works well. This is a beginner instrument, but imho this violin will carry me through my first 2 years of learning before i want to move into the thousand dollar range.

This is the 2nd violin i've bought for my granddaughter. Kiddo loves it. Upgraded to this 4/4 violin from a no-name 3/4 for my 12 year old daughter.

Transferable upgrades are best. Shoulder rest and chin pad upgrade is first to go.

Cons

The mv500 violin has a design flaw in the neck which leads to all the other problems, my guess is a manufacturing flaw. The bow also loses it hairs after a month on all of these i have some across.

I don't want anyone to be fooled by thinking since this violin isn’t the cheapest on amazon, it is no reflection of the quality at all!

I found the sound to be open not pinched and is constant from the low and high ranges

I spent 2 hours applying their rosin and still couldnt get a sound

For someone who has no clue how to play the violin this is a great cheap violin in case you i quit and dont want to lose 6001000
