Pros

They help pass the time in the car on the hour long trip to his grandparents house. A really great toy. Fun, engaging, but most importantly learning opportunities.

The only mess is water, which is manageable if you don’t overfill the brush. I love that these are reusable and have a spot to carry the water pen. Great for reusing over and over again.

The set offers a great way for children to color without the worry of crayon damage. Our 3 year old is obsessed with these books, love that this came in multiple packs.

Got these for my 3 year old nephew. They are an excellent tool for learning. Water drawing pads.

Cons

He just slathers water all over the pages to see the images appear. Showed up soaking wet. Now the cover of the book is soggy. Now it's deformed.

It's pretty messy due to all the extra water from the paintbrush. Doesn't encourage penmanship or dexterity at all with my son.
