Plates are exactly like in the picture only problem is that the bottom of the plates are marked microwave prooe but that is probably the reason these are priced so cheap compared the other products from the same seller

While there was a bit of a mishap in getting me the plates like a previous reviewer i ordered 32 but initially only received 16 ultimately i got my set and they were intact and functional

Opinions on design may vary i personally just needed dishes and didnt care about design but the items themselves seem sufficiently sturdy have already proven they can stand the dishwasher and i even decided to test the claim of being oven safe albeit only for 10 minutes before i removed the plate and it stood up well at 350
